Description:
One Cool Earth is a local educational nonprofit that creates thriving school gardens to help local students grow up happy, healthy, and smart! We have garden sites at 29 SLO County schools, which all need occasional maintenance and touch-ups. Our Garden Educators, who teach our garden-based science lessons to students, host Garden Work Parties for their communities to gather and contribute to the gardens together. This event will be held at Pacheco Elementary in SLO, and will require light garden labor (ex. moving mulch, weeding, etc) with snacks and music included!

Love SLO (March 11th) begins at 8:00am in the Mission Plaza. Festivities (free food, fun, etc.) begin at 8:00am and the Rally will begin around 8:30am. You will meet here before going to your project location. When you arrive, you'll want to find your project sign and meet your project leader. After the Rally, you will meet at your project sign and hear important instructions from your project leader before going to your project location.
